I purchased a 2005 Titan Avalanche about 4 months ago.  The paint is coming off and the dealer basically told me tough.  I contacted Titan and they were supposed to walk the dealer through repairs.  Ha!  All they did was dob on some paint and it looks like a 5yo did it.  I spoke with another new Titan owner and he says his paint job is coming off too.  Anybody else had a problem with paint.  Mine was mfg in Nov. 04.

Where is the paint coming off? How big of an area?

I have an 04 GN Avalanche... it has a few "dings", but I've simply washed them and spot painted them with a can of paint I got for my white round pen panels. I'm talking about dings that are the size of pin head.

The Titan's are galvanized ... I don't know how that affects how they are to be repainted.

OH - on the INSIDE of the trailer, since I have no padding on the dividers or walls, my horse HAS rubbed off an area of paint on the butt wall... but I hadn't really thought about it.

TITAN BUILDS A GOOD TRAILER WITH GOOD PAINT. THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE DEALER. WHEN BUYING A NEW TRAILER YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CONSIDER THE DEALER AS WELL AS THE PRICE. THE PRICE CAN NOT BE LOW ENOUGH IF THE DEALER WILL NOT OR CAN NOT DO THE WARRANTY & REPAIRS. ANOTHER TITAN DEALER CAN MOST LIKELY TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM.

i have a 98 titan renegade II and the paint on it still looks new.   Got a few dings here and there but I feel the paint has helded up well on it.

At a guess they use a different primer.
So should you, if your dings/scratches are down to the bare metal.
That is probably the knowledge and process that the factory passed to the OP's dealership.

Otherwise it is just "Bodyshop 101": repair, sand, prime, paint,,,
