I have hounds that I take to field trials and hunting trips, not exactly a horse show or rodeo, but the needs are the same.
I had the idea of converting the horse stall area for small kennels or dog carriers for the hounds. I think I would have similar concerns as horsemen do, like keeping the hounds cool on hot days, a place to shower and sleep overnight, etc. has anyone done this?
If anyone has thoughts, suggestions, or advice, please respond. Thank you.

There are trailers currently manufactured and sold as “field trial trailers” that have areas for dog already integrated into the trailer. Shetron Trailers seem to have them in stock.
If you were to have a trailer built for you custom, you should be able to get it designed to your specifications.

Short of air conditioning, the need is air flow and shade. I have a horse trailer with drop windows on both sides. With every window dropped, any breeze changes the inside air. The roof provides shade. A stock type trailer (with open slats on both sides) will do the same.
