I have a 2015 Merhow living quarters trailer and in the gooseneck area where my mattress is, there are cupboards all around for storage. Below the cupboards (and just up from the floor of the gooseneck) there is a thin panel that runs across the width. It always comes undone during travel and what is behind it is basically insulation and wiring in the nose of the gooseneck.. Since that is also where my head is on the mattress, I don't want to leave it open and be breathing right next to insulation. The board sometimes had a corner come undone right from the beginning and at first I thought, well they must want to keep access to that area, so it was never sealed off completely. But with time and winters, the board came out again and doesn't even seem to go back in. It might be warped from humidity as it seems a small amount of the end would need to be cut or shaved off now to make it fit. It is such a beautifully finished trailer (finished at the factory and not after sale), it is really annoying that this one board is an issue. I am not super knowledgeable about DIY for this kind of thing but could probably do some if its an easy fix, otherwise I'll have to take it back to the dealer for repair. Any suggestions?

Another idea would be to call Merhow Customer Service and explain your situation. If it is not covered by warranty, they can tell you the best way to fix it.
