And it is draining my battery. I had my LQ redone about 8 months ago but just noticed that when the switch is in the off position my jack still works and same for the water pump. I am not sure if this is new and I just noticed it or it just started, I had been keroing it plugged in as I was using it a lot a few months ago. Any ideas , blown fuse or master cut off switch? Thanks

HP is right. A lot of LQs will operate everything off of the converter, no matter the switch position. So if you are plugged in, switch off- everything may operate, but battery will not charge.
Jack- because of the high amp draw of a jack, it will almost always be wired directly to the battery and the switch will therefore have no impact on it.

Most auto parts stores sell battery master switchs. They are easily mounted on the positive battery terminal, the positive wire is then affixed to its terminal, and by manually turning the switch on or off, the whole system is shut down or activated.. Many car owners use these to protect against thefts or "leaking" circuits. They are not difficult to install, nor expensive to purchase.
