Last night my husband acid washed my trailer floor to prep it for me to do the roll on herculiner. It looks odd today though? It's speckled looking? He thinks it's fine but I'm second guessing myself because I don't want to seal it if it isn't!

All the dark areas should again be acid washed and aggitated with a broom, until they dry whitish like the rest of the floor . You can apply the bed liner over the lighter areas, after the flooring is liberally flushed with water and allowed to dry. A power washer does an excellent job. The most important part of the liner application, is the prep and cleaning of the flooring before any new surface is applied.

Glad you did too, because,a Brillo pad/ acetone wouldn't do anything to halt the corrosion process that would continue in the areas Gard mentioned.( i learned from him over course of a few yrs is why I say that,to elaborate.) you did good to re- do
