Hi, new to this forum. I am looking into getting a 2 horse bumperpull, prefer straight load. My budget is $13K max. I am financing the trailer.
I have narrowed my search down to a new Adam Julite (would add dalton doors, bulkhead window, width), which is $12K and a Lakota 2 horse bumperpull straight load that includes extruded aluminum sides, ramp, 6'9 width. This is $13K.
Both are new. The Adam is aluminum over steel and the Lakota is all aluminum.
Which is a better trailer? What would you go with? We won't be doing a lot of hauling... mostly locally.
Yes, I know there are better brands like 4star and Elite, but those are not in my budget.

I personally love my Lakota. I looked at all makes before I bought mine. I'm so glad I went with Lakota. I love how well the trailer is made. You can definitely tell they care about the comfort and well being of the horse. I pull my 3 horse 8 wide with my F150. I can't even tell it's back there. Very lite trailer. I did add a couple things after I bought it and when I called their parts department they were great. My parts were to me in a couple days. Just love love love my Lakota

We looked at both when my mom was replacing her trailer. Of the two she liked the Lakota better but ultimately went with a Hawk because she felt it suited her needs better. The Adam just seemed cheaply made in my opinion.
