Are you familiar with Trailmeister? It's a great website that has trails all over the states and it's a good site with lots of info We camped for the first time at Yellow River State Park. . .not really Northern part but nice wide trails, tall hitching posts and beautiful thou limited amt. of trails.

Several in the east closer to mississippi river. In mn. you have forestville, zumbro bottoms, outback ranch, hay creek, In Ia. you have yellow river, volga, both are state parks then in west wi. there are several

don't mean to hack into this post but I am anxiously following to try to find a place to ride along the Mississippi River. Can you recommend anyplace that we can camp and ride along or above the River.

 None of the places you listed (Forestville, Zumbro Bottoms, Yellow RIver, Hay Creek, etc) have corrals.
