Hello,
I am wondering if there is a way to make the stall dividers in a 3 horse slant a little lower. I have 2 donkeys that are pony size and they can easily get their head under the divider and I'm worried one in particular might try and scootch under. So, I'm wondering if there are pony sized dividers I could use or if there a way to add a piece on to make it low enough to discourage going under.

If you want the fix to be permanent then the the welding shop route is how you should go (or a trailer repair shop.) If you would like to possibly haul bigger horses again one day (or not kill your resale value) I would suggest something along the lines of a stud panel. A stud panel is a slightly misleading term as I've seen many configurations but I'm specifically speaking of the lower solid divider. It is a solid piece that attaches to the divider and then hangs down to within a few inches above the floor. You might want to search around on the website for the trailer company, you'll find a list with a quick click on the drop menu just below the horse trailer wolrd banner at the top of this page.
There are people that attach a piece of plywood to the divider and you can do that, but make sure you don't leave any gaps that could hang a leg or you'll be causing more harm than good. I have also seen mats hung from the divider but I would not recommend that the lower panel be able to swing when the trailer starts and stops. You will want something that moves as one piece with the divider and does not bang into thsoe legs as you haul. Also google is your friend on this one...
