Dirty contacts/terminals could also give same symptoms....check voltage with a meter. If the LQ is plugged in and battery switch is off, will not charge. Batteries typically self discharge slowly, older ones more quickly.

Put an ammeter in series with the B+ cable and see if there is any draw with the master switch 'OFF". If there is a draw the switch is bad. If you want to trouble shoot an individual circuit, pop one breaker or fuse at a time to determine which circuit has the draw. Once the circuit is determined, turn off any electrical connection to find the culprit. Most shops that sell batteries will test them for free, to determine their viability.

Thanks.
I will try the ammeter in series and see what it says.
Batteries are brand new. Contacts are clean.
I do understand the master switch needs to be in the "on" position in order for the batteries to charge while the trailer is plugged in.
I have been using a battery maintainer to keep them fully topped up. When I disconnect that and have the master switch off, it drains to fair in two to three weeks.

Then you have a parasitic power draw occurring somewhere in your electrical system...:(
