NHTSA Campaign ID Number : 16T002Synopsis : Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC (BATO) is recalling certain FS561 replacement tires, size 255/70R22.5, manufactured January 25, 2015, to January 27, 2016 (DOT weeks 0515-0416) for use on trailers. The affected tires may experience possible tread separation or detachment due to scrubbing during use. Tread separation or detachment may result in a sudden loss of air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash. BATO will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact BATO customer service at 1-800-847-3272.
