So looking for our first LQ we basically only show, but don't want to rule out camping. Pros and cons to trailers with LP ( fridge, heat, etc.) or those with only electric or should we be strictly look for one that has both? We are in northern MN so is gets cold here, but normally use the trailer from April to October. Pretty sure we would always have a place to plug in and we dont really need a stove at this point, just microwave, fridge, some type of heat and hot water. Thoughts, pros, cons??? As always thanks for all the input and help!!! :-)

I would go both, we had an all electric and if you do not have a generator you will be with out electric sometime.

Just to add, if you go all electric that means no refrigerator while traveling!!! This may get touchy on long trips

Good points! Is LP hard to add to a trailer that is already finished? I saw one we really like that hits everything on our must have list, but is all electric. It comes with an Onan generator on the roof top hay rack....but still wondering if we are better off with both LP and electric.

as long as you go where there are electric plug in"s or your generator is working you will be fine but it does limit you sometimes where you might want to go and you are going to burn a lot of gasoline just to keep the frig working.
