Most of the "cowboy showers" I've seen simply amounted to a shower head mounted to the roof of the trailer in the stalls with a curtain hung around it. The used water simply drained through the floor, or out the back door if it was a solid floor.

On Most camping places that I know, your not allowed to drain any water on the camp ground.

I have a cowboy shower and stand in a clean muck bucket (never used for manure) it captures most of the water. I then can pour it down a sink drain. I don't have a curtain around mine and in 15 years of camping, haven't needed it. I like how roomy it is. I do put a hay bag on the window on the driver side, but have never had anyone peek in as they don't know I'm showering...

I sorta like the idea of a cowboy shower. Our lq shower stall is rather cramped for me as I am handicapped. Since the lq shower is on the adjacent wall to the first stall,it would be easy to run the water lines. A large home shower base on the floor,a 90 degree curtain, and I am good to go.The hc bars would be easy to attach to the trailer walls.
