Do you like your horse? Do you like your trailer? if so buy quality not price, other wise you will be spending most of your time fixing tires and probably trailer damage.

don't have a clue as to what size your trailer is, but I just bought 4 new truck tires and if they quoted me $70/tire I would be thinking twice are these China knock offs and probably run away fast!!

We had hi runs on our Exiss Stock Trailer when we bought it new. Ran them for 3 years with no problems. The center of the tread worn off bald but the sides looked new. Worn even--all four the exact same. This is with the recommended psi. Was really weird. I finally got scared and replaced them. Never had as much as a flat in 10k miles or so and that included a lot of ranch roads.

Need to know what kind/size/use of trailer you have.
If you just put a few (<5k or so) miles a year on them, most any US made tire should work. If you put a lot of miles on the trailer, you might want a name brand.
To narrow it down, you might search this site as there has been a lot of recommendations from people more in the know than I.
I replaced the hirun tires with a 14 ply US brand so I don't have to worry about them for the next 6-8 years.

I am interested in tires like this! I was always told 5 YEARS on tires is the max life you can get for safety reasons!! I was using Goodyear G614's but at over 300 each the weather was hurting them with in 3 years. Tread was still 90% or better but the side wall cracks was back. I keep our trailer on concrete pad with 2x12 runners and rv tire covers on them unless we are hauling. So 2 sets of Goodyears in almost 6 years I went with a tires at half price and got on 2 years out of them. Now I am looking for my 4th set.... Was going to go with Hankooks this time since I have been running them on my hay trailer about 4 years now with ZREO issues and the sides still look good. BUT the Hankooks are 1" trailer tire and I may have fender issues.

I read a great article on trailer tires in my mule mag. If you go to T cross farm you will find a copy of this story.Click on "These Darn Trailer Tires".I learned a lot.It is full of good info.

Yet another reason to be in the northern climes...:)
