We have checked out some Lakota trailers last saturday, nice trailers but pricey.
We bought instead the all aluminum Kiefer with LQ, that saved us alot of money.

I have a Lakota and can say they are wonderful to work with if you have any problems. Prior I had Kidder and they were ok too but not as responsive though my Keifer wasn't a living quarter so I never had much to have an issue with! Lol

We have had our Lakota for 2 years now and love it. I feel like I am home when we are camping in it. If you are not in a hurry, I would recommend ordering one. You can have custom stuff done and make it exactly what you want. We had items added that were only known to be on the Big Horns. Some dealers didn't even know we could add some of the things we did. I would buy another Lakota without hesitation. Being pricey is a relative term. you will be hard pressed to find a better value for what all the things you can get on them. Lakota does all their own interiors so they cut out the middle man. Outlaw and the like do a great job on LQ's but when you can have the manufacturer do it, it saves money.

Tray ceiling in the goose neck, had the step into the LQ made larger were the items Lakota of Ohio didn't know you could do. We also had the AC ducted to the horse area, bower latch on the escape door, extra brush tray and blanket bars, extra bridle hooks, stainless sink and fixtures in bathroom, counter extension in kitchen, full stove and oven, had the TV put on the opposite side so easier to see from the couch...that is what I can think of at the moment. Bottom line is you can make it what you want. When the dealer does not have to sit on it, take out a loan for any extended time or pay insurance on it, they can pass that savings on to you. Cheaper to order many times, you just have to wait for it to be built.
