Someone just offered my husband an Onan generator pretty cheap.  It's 27 amps, has about 250 hours.   Says 1800 rmp, 6.5 kW.  MOdel #6.5 NHD-FB/1M.

My trailer is just a little weekender, but I have a 13,500 a/c that I just had put on top in September.

Will this generator run it?

And you might have friends at the camp site or rodeo as that should run another trailer or two.
Good luck!

This is a commercial generator. It is a 120/240V unit which is pretty cool but you likely won’t need 240V unless you want an oven or a welder. The 27 amps you stated is on the 240 side, at 120V you have 54 amps to play with. More than enough as others have said. From the size of your A/C unit you will need a 20 amp circuit to handle the startup and running. Also it is not a self contained unit so plan on some additional costs for mounting, battery, fuel and hard wiring.
