Hi,

I found a trailer I am very interested in buying, fits almost exactly what I want with a small LQ package. However, it does not have a shower or toilet, which I really do want. It does have a sink, but does not have a water heater.

Question: how hard/expensive is it to add a shower/toilet combo down the road if I wanted to? Or how about just a cowboy shower in the 1st stall of the horse area? What about a water heater?

For those who have cowboy showers in their trailer, how do you like them? Do you find them a pain or have you found an easy way to get the water to drain out?

I paid $382 for a 6 gal Suburban 110v/LP water heater, plus plumbing and LP connections. Can't help you with the combo toilet/shower - ours are separate.

There are also standalone water heaters you can hang on the wall and run lines from your water supply and LP tank, then a line to a cowboy shower. I have one in our barn for horse baths. Valley Vet has them in their catalog and online. They work reasonably well with one use point.
