Have opportunity to purchase a 2011 Featherlite 9405 model "1 horse or 2 horse" trailer at dealer's invoice. The dealer has had the trailer for 2 years. The inside dimensions are 5'7" wide, 7'6" high, 11' long. The height of course is great but I'm concerned that the width of the horse stall (in two horse mode) is only 31.88". I'm not sure how my TB Gelding and his QH friend would feel about loading and then riding in that space. Its a straight load with a ramp, very simple but ease of use is great which is important to my old bones. Any thoughts out there? I don't want to make a mistake on this, does any one have experience with either this model trailer or one with similar dimensions?

Did anyone reply to you regarding interior stall width of this trailer? I have a similar question or concern, as am shopping for a new trailer and suddenly confronted with all sorts of options, sizes...

I have a trailer that is of similar width, local manufacturer called McBride. There are a ton of them running around here (Ontario) as they have been making the same layout for over 25 years. Usually I have the divider out because I only am moving 1, but have had 2 15.2 QH on with good barrels on them without issue. If you see a large warmblood in your future I would pass (no problem moving him alone) and my next trailer will probably be wider but for me it hasn't been problem so far.

Thanks for the reply. I have made the purchase, couldn't pass up to price. I've had my TB in the trailer and I'm not anticipating any problems with the size. Looking forward to enjoying many adventures.
