Yes I have just purchased a new Lakota Living Quarters horse trailer with Satellite my question is, will a DVR by Dish network from one location hookup operate both TV's,, I don't know if they have a new dvr out that will control 3 TVs or not but there are 3 TVs in the trailer.

Yes... You can take the box anywhere and it will work. I use to do this when camping, I had 2 boxes in my house and just unhooked one to take camping...

EDIT... Opps, I thought you were asking if you could take a box from your house. Anyhow. With Dish, it would be best to get the "hopper" it has radio remotes that you can get that can hook up to other TVs and use just the one box.

Thanks Steve I checked in to the hopper and you still need small boxes for each tv and a internet connection

Sorry, I didn't know the hopper needed internet... But dose it really to use the radio functions (Boxes) to each TV? I would think it would still work in the trailer, you just wouldn't be able to do the "anywhere" TV viewing... I don't have a hopper, but my Dish network HD box wants internet as well, but its not hooked up and works fine.

In any case... All I did with my 5th wheel camper, was get a box that had TV1 and TV2 (2 tuners) and ran a cable to TV2 from the box. It took some work running the cable in the walls, but it worked. Now for your 3rd TV, you would need a splitter off of TV2 to get that one going, but that TV would only get the channel that TV2 is using.

(just in case, yes you can use a splitter for TV to TV, you can not use a splitter to split from the Sat dish to another Sat box)
