A horse show acquaintance of ours (Jeff Givens from Murfreesboro, Tn.) was killed in a single vehicle accident coming home Sunday morning around 08:30 from the Ohio Walking Horse Celebration in Jackson, Ohio.... Weather was rain, fog and slick conditions. Word I got was...They may have run off the left shoulder, over corrected in the curve, jack knifed and into the guard rail drivers side first, then flipped. Word has it that two of the horses were ejected from the trailer... The man that works for him, can't think of his name, they call him "Lightning" has a broken shoulder, ribs and some other scrapes, lucky to be alive.
