can anyone give me an idea of the markup % for the new trailers? I need what the dealer purchases it from the factory vs what they retail it for. Example: trailer being listed for $29000.00. What would be a reasonable "low ball" offer?

Wow that is a loaded question. I know when we bought ours we ordered it and had the dealer broker the deal. Saved us a bunch of money. There are a great deal of expenses that go into being a dealer. The over head to up front the money to buy the trailer for the lot, insurance etc cost them money.
As for what a good low ball price would be, you have to consider how long they have had the trailer, what the interest is in it etc. Like buying a house, when you have a lot of interest, the price stays more firm than if they have sat on it a while and want to unload it.

I asked this question about 2 months ago and didn't get any definitive info. I guess all I can add is that I ended up custom ordering a trailer and I've seen shorter non aluminum trailers go for several thousand more than I'm paying.

Length has very little to do with the price.  Quality of construction and features incorporated will make the most difference.
