I just bought a used trailer and decided to ride in it with my son driving the truck for the last few miles. It makes a lot of noise when you hit a bump and the dividers rattle horrendously loudly. It is a slant load trailer. Any suggestions on what to do to reduce the rattle of the dividers? I thought of putting in some of that foam sticky insulation in the slot - could be a temporary fix..... or spraying some of that rubber stuff you can put on the handles of your tools....... other ideas?ThanksFran

Some of the rattling noises come from the movement of the divider latches and their corresponding wall mounted hardware. A piece of foam pipe insulation fitted and glued to the end of the divider, can form an interference fit and lessen the movement of the latch assemblies. The same is true of gates. Some 4 Star trailers just have a piece of thin rubber attached to the divider end to reduce the rattling. Both will work.
