Not me, nor do I know who this is... Got stuck going down the drive way. They were using lower gears and not using the trailer brakes, truck slipped and jack knifed... Keep the volume down...

Trailer keeps pushing, But the gearing caused the truck wheels to resist and jack knife.  He should have used his brake controller and had the trailer brakes slow the rig while the truck freewheeled.

I am still amazed the number of people that haul trailers that don't know you can activate your trailer brakes manually from the brake controller separate from the tow vehicle's breaks. Save my wife's life a couple years ago when the trailer started to pass her on black ice on an overpass. She hit the break controller and straightened the rig back out.

The sad part is that hill doesn't even look long enough to be concerned with brake fade which is the only reason I ever go light on the brakes and use engine braking. Even then I would only use engine braking on dry pavement, never on gravel.

IS THAT a 1500??? If so, what year?...because older 1500s might be overloaded with that particular trailer...:(

 2007 or earlier Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax/Allison 4X4....
