Please someone help me with this.  The batteries on my Sundowner horse trailer had to be replaced.  New batteries put in and every thing worked.  My husband took the batteries out and charged them up, then put the battery tender on them.  He hooked them back into the horse trailer and now nothing won't come on.  No tv, ac, microwave, nothing.  The lights that run off the dc will but nothing else.  Whats wrong?

Many appliances in a trailer will not run on 12 volt current.  This includes most TV's, all microwaves, AC units, etc. that require 110 volt current.  If your lights, water pump, and radio work then your batteries are fine.  Plug your trailer into a shoreline power source and ALL appliances should function normally.

Did all your appliances work from the battery only before?

I believe DKhunter is correct in your case.

I would recheck the battery wiring for proper polarity, and clean the battery terminals. You can also check the fuses/breakers that power your LQ converter. If any of the battery leads were shorted during their handling, it can cause the converter to short and blow its protection devise. With the converter inoperative, your whole electrical system could be shut down.

Thanks so much.  Checked the drop cord and it wouldn't work so thats the cause.  Got another cord and everything went to working in the trailer.

Your appliances run off of AC, your lights DC
