I searched and saw one thread about an older Trail-et, but it didn't give much info except to check the frame. Are these good quality? Besides rust on the frame, anything I should be aware of? I'm looking at a 3-horse slant gooseneck, 2001. Any idea on a price, not considering upgrades? (Just the basic trailer with drop-down windows, collapsible rear tack, mats, carpeted dressing room, 4-foot short wall.)Thanks so much. I was also going to look at an Exiss, but I've read a few negatives on this site.

I have a 1997 Trail-et 3H, about what you are looking at. I've enjoyed my trailer. I think it pulls nicely. Look for all the things you'd normally look for. My dressing room window leaks--no doubt need a new seal. There is no insulation on the ceiling, so my [self-installed] heater doesn't work as well as it should. I did notice once when pulling through a bad rain storm that my dressing room floor got wet. Been bad and haven't pulled the carpet up to see what was underneath it yet. Mine has a water tank under the goosneck, near the spare. I paid $5000 a few years ago for it but I think I got a good deal.
