Having my 4ft short wall Featherlite trailer insulated and finished. How big of a A.C. unit do I need? I see the new ones are very exspensive, so I thought I would shop around and find a unit out of a wrecked unit. Thoughts??

Our 4' weekender has a 13.5 Duotherm AC unit. On the hottest days, it can turn the space into a meat locker in about an hour. Our larger LQ has a 15.0 Duotherm AC. Both work flawlessly.
The heat strips are another story. Both are unused when we heat with ceramic heaters.

I ended up buying thru PPL Motor Homes in Houston, Texas. The roof top I purchased was a Polar Cub. Low Profile. I really like it. I didn't get the heat strip. I have a electric heater that sits on the floor for warmth.

Thank you for the info ....we plan on using a electric heater also ...I also have an electric blanket that I used in our older trailer with just the gooseneck as LQ. The newer trailer has a 4ft short wall.
