Well if you don't have a tractor with an FEL that can reach to roof of your trailer...you need one of these... http://www.thehaylevator.com/

Smart man there.

I can fit 10 bales up in my rack and another 6 in the bed of my truck if I need it.  In fact most of the, I just put 2-4 bales I need for a weekend in the truck bed. The trailer rack only gets used on extended camp outs.
