Hello,We are searching for a 24' stock/combo all aluminum trailer. We need to know which makers produce the toughest trailers with the best latches, hinges, and so on, as we will be hauling bulls, cows and horses. What should we stay away from? All opinions, comments and experiences are welcome. Kind Regards

You will get a lot of different opinions. But in my experience (45 years of ranching)I would first look at Elite, Sooner, and Eby. IF you don't mind punched sides, I would look at Merritt or Wilson also.
The ones to stay away from, well I am not going to run any down, but look at the ones above than compare to the others...you can see the diffence real easy.
But you get what you pay for most of the time. If you really need a mostly bullet proof trailer, be prepared to pay more.

I had an Eby 4 horse stock combo. It was very well built and never had a problem with it. It was 24 ft. on the floor. Very durable hinges, gates, etc. I would have another without question.
