Our Sooner LQ did not come with an external step to the LQ.

We have used step stools and would like to install an actual RV fold out step.  Has anyone done this?

YUUUUUP.  Although mine is a single step.  The frame of the step came in 2 widths. My installer purchased the size that fit between the cross-frame supports and it works wonderfully.

It does pick up a good deal of dirt and sand from road travel, so annually, I clean it off (steel brush it) and spray paint it.  I'll see if I have a photo in my album....
