I have an Exiss XT308MT which should be an 3 horse with a midtack and an 8ft short wall.  I want to replace the flooring so I was doing some measuring today and the trailers short wall actually measures 9' 6", closer to 10' than 8'.  Any idea as to why it measures different than the model suggest it should?

Because it is an Exiss??? A lot of members on this forum wouldn't list Exiss as their top pick.

No idea other than they got the mid tack wall in the wrong spot. 

Where did you get the model #?

Don't really care what most members would list as their first pick and actually isn't really relevant to the question.  I guess I could have borrowed a bunch of money to purchase a trailer that would put me with the in crowd but I decided I would pay cash for a trailer that had the same function as those at twice the price and not owe anybody any money but to each their own. 

The model number is listed on the side of the trailer and the Exiss nomenclature would tell me that the XT308MT is the 3 horse with an 8 foot shortwall.

I don't think so because it's a factory LQ and the VIN Plate also shows the model number as a 308MT with the MT indicating midtack.

total box length should be 14+8+4+ 26' What is the first 2 numbers after the letters in the VIN. ABCDEF26 ???

Location: Jersey, GA		No answer for the question. Just a response to the remark about Exiss in general. I had a Exiss that I just loved. Only changed because I needed a bigger trailer and got great price on another brand. I see lots of Exiss trailers on the road though.

Location: Valentine, NE		Might call the manufacturer as they typically have the build sheet on file. I know Hart and Cimarron both had mine when I called with questions.

I am an Exiss fan as one of my run around trailers is an Exiss. Works fine when used as intented and is a good value IMO.

Sure do agree with black cows as far as pulling one that is paid off.

Horses +14', LQ + 9'6", MT= 3'6". Looks like someone read build sheet wrong?
