This is my second LQ, seems not all are wired quite the same..? I'm a little lost and blonde... help!

First its a 2005 Bison from Dixie, I'm not sure who did the conversion. Both batteries are less than a year old.

There is a battery shut off switch, self explanatory, works for that... but when the trailer is plugged into an electrical outlet and I turn off the battery, the lights go out. Microwave & A/C still on. ? What do I do to run strictly on "cord power" at a campsite?

My old trailer I plugged in, turn the battery switch on, and the plug current charged the battery. Since I've had it plugged in tonight the battery has steady lost charge. How does one charge the batteries?

Gas on and working to the cook top burners, but no furnace. I'm assuming that is due to the low battery? (My old trailer worked that way.)

There's too many things not going quite right, I have a feeling its because I'm the problem, not the trailer! 4 45
