If you don't count your labour, it's less expensive to buld your own cabinets. Raised panel doors take additional tooling that many DIYers don't own. Ebay is a good source.
Big box stores'cabinets are often constructed of medium density chip board that results in a heavy construction. Upgrading to plywood boxes will considerably lighten the LQ.
Another source is RTA cabinets available from the internet. Good quality and reasonable pricing

my husband bought nice cabinet doors from a cabinet discounter place, and built the rest of the cabinets himself.
