Hi, All. I have a '99 Featherlite with the door handles on the horse and tack compartment. Have lost keys and am replacing handles. They are the kind that push a bar in the upper and lower holes on the trailer. Before I start tearing stuff apart, is this too difficult? Does anyone have any experience doing this? Have to replace because they were drilled out at a clinic because I needed to be able to get the horses out.. I know...dummy! Should have had a copy.... :) Will have copies of these! Any help would be appreciated....

I had a friend whose big draft cross sat on the back door like yours. Her husband took a bunch of chain and ran it thru a big thick hose with heavy duty hooks on the end. After she shut the door, she hooked it from the back trailer tie on each side. She hauled like that for several years. Then, she bit the bullet and had a ramp put on so she never had to worry about it again.
