Being from Illinois also, I think the OP is trying to find out how to keep the moisture out of a LQ. I have tried Damp Rid, helps somewhat,the only other way is to heat it, a dehumidifier will not work during winter.

Alot depends on where the trailer is stored..mine is store in the barn..and I use the Damp Rid also..it does an OK job...a friend of mine keeps a small fan blowing in the trailer pretty much all winter long so the air circulates..

Im in Illinois and I don't have a real problem with moisture either
