A simple answer is to drain the water from everything, insert some RV antifreeze into the water lines, and pour a little antifreeze down the individual drains. Remove all food products or anything in the cubboards that might freeze. And you might consider pulling the batteries and storing them some place warm,

I would add just one thing; and that is to shut the valve to your water heater after you drain it, so that no antifreeze can enter your water heater. Leave the drain plug out of your water heater for the winter.

This is our first year with LQ and I have a couple of questions that I hope you can help with.1. Do I have to do anything special to the refrigerator or freezer (besides empty it out). We are in MN so it's going to be bitterly cold.2. I've had a number of people that mentioned that we'll probably have to buy new batteries in the spring. That seems like such a waste. Is there something we can do to save the batteries over winter? Leave them on a trickle charger? Keep the trailer plugged in? Bring the batteries in the house or garage? Anything?thank you. I tried to search "winterize" topics from the past year and received an error?
