There are tables in front of couches that have a post that goes into the floor and you place table on. The table and stand can come down when your done and you remove the support post from the floor. I hope i've explained it well enough. Does anyone know if the floor hole can be put in later since it's not currently installed in the trailer? I'd like extra eating space but am unsure if this should be done after market.thanks all!

We added a table to our LQ. There are table bases that you can purchase at any rv parts store. One is recessed....you can cut the hole with a hole saw and drop it in. The other sticks up, you just use screws to attach it to the floor. Usually, that part is used on the underside of your table. Then you just add the post, whatever length you need for your table's height. Hope that helps!

when our trailer was recarpeted the previous owners did not put the table hardware back in. We considered putting it back in but then with much retrospection we decided not too. I purchased 2 tv type trays that have adjustable heights. they fold up and fit into the closet easily and are not in the way when not in use. Also I can take them outside to use when picnic tables are not available. Since they have adjustable heights they work with any type of chair.
I have had another trailer with the table and found I actually like this better. Just a thought...

It can easily be added. I took out my brackets when I redid my floor and they are just a hole drilled into the floor with they bracket setting down in and wood screwed to floor. No extra support or anything. Just make sure you put hole in between floor framing.

In our trailer, Cowboy Classics used those brackets to make a table. The brackets are mounted on two pieces of finished hardwood that serve as the base and the top of the table. all of it comes apart and is easily stored in a closet.

We had the type of table in our old LQ that sat on a tube which sat in a bracket on the floor. But I much prefer what they tend to do now, which is a free standing table that folds up. The top matches the counter top and the legs fold up. It stores in the closet and they put a nice strap in there so it stays against the wall. I find this much easier to deal with and store. Also, you can use it for other applications as well, such as an extra table outside or moved close to the sink for more work area if you cook.

I don't have enough room in my little trailer, so I got folding aluminum tables from wally world. They are strong, attractive and don't take up any room. I just put them on the bed when travelling. And as previously mentioned, I can use them outside, too.
