Hello,
Any thoughts on roof top air conditioners vs a small unit installed through the wall under the peak. Or a portable floor unit? I read a poll and have decided that I had better insulate my 4' short wall. A portable one might take up too much room. Naturally the cost is more for a roof top one. Will the road vibrations damage a wall unit? Is it worth it to put a huge hole in the wall for one? Thanks for all your input.

When you cut the hole in your trailer, either under the bunk or in the backwall, it's going to decrease the value down the road. Putting it on top is the best idea if you can afford it.

Thank you, it really does make more sense. Now I will be saving up for an awning and a roof top unit. And deciding what I want to cover the insulation with.
