Get some spray silicone lubricant and spray it onto a rag. Wipe the seals with the moistened rag. If you spray the lubricant directly onto the seals, some of the manufacturer's propellants have chemicals that can attack and harm rubber and plastics. By first spraying on the rag, it allows some time for the propellants to evaporate.

The auto makers use talc powder on the door seals. Talc powder repels water. Try it yourself. put a teaspoon of talc in a glass of water. Then poke your finger through the water surface. Your finger will come out dry. covered in talc powder but dry.
I apply the talc power to the "DRY" door seals by hand... auto, truck and trailer. The rubber seal must be dry before you apply the powder. Seems like the cheaper the powder the better it works on rubber door seals. Be sure to use talc powder. Some body powders use corn starch. The starch will make a gooey mess.
