Best one I know of is PAID FOR no matter what it's use will be.
Sorry for the sarcasm, but until you define your needs, it's a little hard to give any other opinions. Size, weight, LQ or not, bumper pull or gooseneck will all effect what type of truck you may need.

Especially if someone else paid for it... Seriously though, I'm a big fan of GMC's Duramax Diesels

I had a Ford and now own a Dodge 4500.....it has all of the emissions BS but if you go with a 2500 or 3500 regular truck they dont have all of that stuff, plus they are the least expensive and have one of the most proven engines and have fixed the tranny problems. My neighbor has a 2011 duramax and he loves it but they can be pricy but are very nice trucks. Good luck with your search.

Gone ,I have a 2008 Duramax. What repairs you talking about?
http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=130... Yep and don't forget to add the cluster. I want to take a deep breathe but I'm afraid to. It does run good and tows well. My Christmas wish from Santa is to not have any major repair bills. I've been good this year. I hope he listened!

Geez...I missed the cluster problem...seems to be another argument for buying NEW... ...I think there are too many people jazzing diesels currently to buy used...
