As far as those trailers, I would rate the Kiefer first, Exiss second and SD last. All have good interiors.

having sold both exiss and sundowner and a kiefer dealer just up the road I would rate them sundowner best hands down, kiefer second and sport the worst trailer exiss has ever made.

well still looking. Was looking to either order a new Sundowner 6LQ or a Exiss 307,the kiefer was 2008 used 1 yr,so new shape. On used if they took my offer I would have gone with it but No not happening, lol Can get a new trailer for not much more than that.So here I am trying to decide options on a new Sundowner & thinking I'd go ahead & order. Well another Kiefer came for sale only with a 9LQ Year older{2007} than last one I was looking at & just a bit more$ than the other one I was looking at but just less than ordering a new smaller trailer. It has several extras on it. Just got pics so far haven't seen it but think I should go take a look!!

People have given opinions of which brands they would choose but no reasons why.I know the Sundowner horizon & Exiss Sport models are what they class as more entry level trailers,The Kiefer Genesis is considered a higher quality Model. I have looked so much my head is spinning all the dealers trying to tell you that there trailer is best, hard to know who to believe.I don't know anyone personally that has had an Exiss but liked what I saw at the dealer, heard bad things about the older models but since universal is making have improved,Sundowner have heard mixed reviews, the Kiefer people have liked.

paintedpastures, Also, if you are looking mid range, you might take a look at Featherlite. Featherlite makes a good factory weekender package and a good mid range all aluminum trailer. I have a 2005 Featherlite weekender and it has served me well.
