Traveling west on I-64 towards St. Louis and need to layover somewhere near Mt. Vernon, IL. There are several lay-up barns but very $$$. Just need room to park a trailer and a place to put horses.

I know there is a horseshow arena in Mt. Vernon but sorry don't know who to contact. Maybe stop at a gas station and ask I'm sure someone can tell you where it is.

Fairgrounds are out due to insurance issues. Hutchinson has no place for horses can't use arena. One lay-up place doesn't do it, the other wants $20 a horse. So far I am striking out. :( I thought this would be easy!
