It all depends on what your definition of easier is, and what kind of driving and where. IMHO going down the highway a longer, heavier trailer pulls easier. In a city situation a shorter bumper pull will track behind the tow vehicle better. Another factor is your experience and skill with a trailer. For me, a longer gooseneck is easier to back up than a short bumper pull, but again it depends on where and how much room you have to work with.
