I know there are lots of variables but will 10 gallons of water be enough to flush the toliet lots of times (maybe 25 at the very most). Our trailer has a 33 gallon fresh water tank, there are many times that we go to day shows and water isn't easy to get to when we are tied to the trailer. The fresh water tank has a drain you open from the inside of the trailer but without much work I can redo this so that we have an outside valve. 20 gallons of water would go a long way at a show if we couldn't get to water leaving about 10 to 15 gallons to flush the toliet. Think this would work?

I think most RV toilets require 1 quart of water per flush. Have seen grey water plumbed up to flush toilet, helps stretch, get more usage out of the clean/fresh tank.

Are you talking about using your fresh water to water your horses? Why dont you get a water caddy for horse water? We camp at our competitive trail competitions for 3 days at a time and often have to provide our own horse water. I have an upright caddy in my rear tack and the dry camp saddle rack water caddy that we either put in the front stall with the hay or in the bed of the truck. I like that I can unhitch and go refill it if needed. I also sometimes carry a couple of 5 gallon plastic water jugs from Wal Mart. Taking an extra water caddy full would give you water to rinse off horses (with a bucket and sponge) or take shower yourself if you were hot and dusty.
