Will be going there in 3 weeks. Looking for information about which trails are the best; like to ride 4-6 hours and prefer loop trails. I have maps of the area but appreciate hearing from folks who have been there and what they recommend or don't recommend. Thanks so much

We were there two weeks ago for the first time. I don't remember the names of all the trails we rode but I can tell you Mr. James at Deep Creek is super helpful and knowledgeable about the trails. Tell him how long you want to ride and he'll be able to suggest appropriate loops for you.

Also, he has stock trailers for you to use to get to the trail heads if you don't want to ride the horses down the road. I highly recommend using the trailers if they are available.

You'll have a great time!!! We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan on going back soon.

We were there 4 weeks ago. Mr Clark is an excellent host. He knows all the trails and will have no trouble directing you. We traveled 5 hours to get there and we were not disapointed. Please remember to read the entire signs in each direction at each crossroads to know where you are. They are so many trails!  We did run into several bees nest right on the trails.

We just came from there. Watch out for the bees but otherwise, you will have a great time. It's a beautiful place to ride.

Thank You. Yes, the bees are terrible and I dread that part of the ride this time of year.

I posted some photos under the 'packing advise' thread. Sorry, I spelled advice wrong :0  I'm usually a better speller.
