Horsetrailer world is slightly different than some other websites on how you post. You just can't insert the like other places you, actually have to copy the URL address to your clipboard ( or remember it so you can type it in, I prefer to let my computer to work), Then you need to select the icon on the tool bar that looks like a picture frame. When you click on it a window will open, where you will insert the URL address of the photo. after you have inserted the URL address, click OK and the photo will appear in the post.
Now this also assumes, that you have posted the photo on a photo server that is online 24x7. You can't copy photos from your personal computer direct to forum web pages. They need to be hosted on a third party server. such as Photobucket, Picaso, villagephotos.

It doesn't matter if you are using a mac or pc. Its the same proceedure.
Place your photo on a photoserver. The method of doing that will depend on the Photoserver you choose to use.
Copy the URL address of the photo on the photoserver to your computers clipboard ( or write it down on a piece of paper)
Go to the website where you want to post the photo. Once you start a new message or reply to an existing message you will have a tool bar just above where you are typing. One of the icons is the "Insert Image" on this website that icon looks like a small picture frame with a mountain in the photo. It is the 4th icon from the far right.
Select that icon and a Dialog box opens. You need to paste what is stored in the clipboard ( or manually type it in) into the box titled "Image URL"
This line does, except I have removed < from in front of the line so you can see the code that works.

In photobucket, you have 4 choices:
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code
HTML Code is the one you want. It looks like the line above that works. Copy the HTML Code that follows the HTML Code label, then paste into Message: box
