I have an 01 Exiss 3 Horse with a MT and 8ft SW. The white skin is kind of dull and dirty....not terrible but I like bright and shinny. I did have it citrus washed at a truck wash a few months ago and that helped but it still not as nice as I would like. Does wax help? If it does how long will the wax last...it is about 26 feet of trailer so lots of waxing!

I just did our 06 Kiefer-Built. I don't think it was ever waxed. I used a polishing/cleaner compound by Turtle Wax first to remove the oxidation. Then I used Meguiar's Wax & Cleaner for the final waxing & it came out looking like new! I had a hard time removing the cleaner till my husband suggested I try washing it off which worked great. The Meguiar's wax came off easy once it has dried. I did one or two panels at a time so I didn't get overwhelmed & before I knew it I was done. I was motivated by seeing the before & after next to each other. We keep it in so I thought it would be worthwhile to do it good the first time but I think I will try the liquid glass suggested to maintain it. That may be easier than what I did from the get-go but too late now - I'm done!

I use a product by Streakmaster that is washed on after cleaning, and I personally think it has "wow" factor. It keeps it clean longer, too. It was called Wash and Protect,he may be calling it by a different name, now.
also check out the products to wax by Metalwax, the link should be found at the top of the home page or trailer page, they make excellent wax and polish compounds, also.
