I don't have any recommendations for guides.  We always take our own horses.

But you are going to love it.

Leaving in two weeks to go with Butte Creek Outfitters out of Cody. We are riding 6 days from Dubois to Cody. We are going to ride their horses however. These outfitters also do rides from Cody to Jackson and are real flexible. I will let you know how it goes.

WE plan on taking our own horses also, but we would like a guide that knows the area.

If you are bringing your own horses. I would be happy to give you some suggestion on where to camp, trails to ride etc. But I can't help you with a guide.

The biggest problem with Yellowstone/Jackson Hole area is where to camp with your horses. Since there is a lot of private land, and what is left is all national parks. Which don't have any camping with horse trailers.  You are pretty much committed to primative dispearsed camping in national forest lands. I ride that area each summer, it is a great place to ride.

Send me a PM if you want some reccomendations for do it yourself on your own horses.
