Delt with this type of thing many times. I just keep on stepping and don't slow down. I don't have time for all that sillyness. If they are a real friend, they will come around. Just be yourself. I have found that in the horse world, this is quite a challenge, weither it be horses, trailer, barn, etc. As soon as you are gone, they are flapping their lips.
