If you were to install a barrier coating on the steel framework and and aluminum panels, before you install the pressure treated plywood, it will prevent the preservative chemicals from reacting with the metals. The treated plywood will last longer than untreated and the metals will be undamaged. The coating will also help prevent rusting of the steel, and corrosion of the aluminum.

A single part, cold applied, vinyl polymer/ polyurethane ( Herculiner, Duplicolor) bed liner material would provide a long lasting metal covering. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and is very durable. It would be faster and less expensive to treat the framework, rather than coat the plywood.

Ok, I think I understand. So basically a bed liner material put on the backside of the aluminum skin as well as the steel frame then install the pressure treated plywood. Did I interprete that right? Also, any idea of how to prevent it from rotting again in the future? I don't know if water came in from under the mat or what. I do know that the girl that owned it before me was clueless and didn't take care of it properly so who knows.

Pressure treated plywood shouldn't rot for as long as you own the trailer.
