WE just purchased a Sundowner from the dealer the trailer had never been used. So the trailer was actually 3 years old but like new. The refrigerator doesn't seem to get very cold. Is this normal or do we need a new refrigerator? This is our first LQ trailer. Thanks.

You got it running on electricity or LP? Read the owners manual for the initial set up and trouble shooting instructions. Put couple six packs and a Thermometer inside and get a temperture reading first (give it 8-12 hours to chill everything down) and be sure the fridge is sitting level. If it's still not cooling, contact the dealer you bought the trailer from. You did get a warranty for a new trailer, didn't you....?

If the refrigerator has been sitting not being used for 3 years it may need a day to get everything circulating. If it's on gas the burner could also have gotten clogged by spiders or if it's anything like it is here a mud dobber nest.
