Has anyone crossed into Canada lately?  I know last year my vet charged $65.00 for "in the states" vet certificate (not including the farm call)  and nobody ever asked me for it.  I have a passport for myself.  Just wondering how much you pay and if they really check for anything other than a coggins at the border, will be crossing Minnisota.

Ask the girls at rodeoclassifieds.com in the forum, they cross all the time, or just search there for the answer.

They will impound your rig and your horses if you get caught crossing without the proper health papers. We have been checked just about every time. We did have some running buddies get detained for having "barn" names on some of the paperwork and registered names on the other. It is best to keep it all consistant.

And if you have an NRA sticker on your rig, count on getting searched quite throroughly!!!

oh, forgot to mention to be sure and have a Canandian insurance rider issued for  both your truck and trailer from you insurance agent. The first time I crossed over, the insurance thing held us up over two hours.
